Dare we say anymore, need we say anything else? Arguably the most successful Daft Punk album to date, this iconic album cover is predominantly 3D with a touch of Photoshop work. One of Kid Hybrid’s most prized pieces.
Mad Revival is fronted by talented Aussie lead singer / songwriter / guitarist / producer Nic Capelle. Backed by one of the illest bands: second lead vocalist Natalie Capelle; Guitars/keys Ant Marks; Bass Matt Littell and Drums Macy Lucarelli. Jammed to the rafters with sweaty 60's blues, soul and gospel feel, the big vocals and stomping beats will make it nearly impossible not to unleash on the dance floor like in the juke joint days of ol’.
Kid Hybrid worked on both the 'Rise Above It' video and website.

In this future, planets and territories are disputed through a universal tournament known as the SCIFIHI (Science Fighting Heroes Intergalactic). Lucozade is the original energy drink. But with a market saturated with competitor products, they needed to readdress the brand and shake things up.
With a repositioning as a lifestyle drink and products ranging from hard core sports supplements through to recovery from the night before, Lucozade aimed to add edge and street appeal to their offering.
Our task was to activate the re-brand through all digital channels with engagement at the core. This included a beefy brand website, rich user experience through Facebook and YouTube as well as mobile apps, online apps, promotions, competitions and user generated content.
The result… An undeniable association with music, over 4.2 million channel views within the first few months of launch and over 400,000 active fans on Facebook.
London based duo Them Bones needed a clip to pitch their track 'Bury Them Bones' to networks. Shot on location in one of London's oldest Victorian era cemeteries, we delivered a dark brooding emotional journey, through the vestiges of old relationships. Burying psychological skeletons and walking through life with the turmoil of past loves stuck underneath your fingernails.
Highly acclaimed South African cellist Simone Vittucci has been crowed LA's most punk rock cellist. But her restraint is found here in her debut music video, playing a classical piece, Gaspar Cassado’s Suite for Solo Cello: First Movement.
This was an incredible video to shoot in one of Altadena CA's oldest buildings, a luxurious Victorian Mansion. The clip features underwater shots, aerial views and soul striking emotion from the gifted Vittucci. This is a mini movie.
Blues, Rock'n'roll producer/artist Nic Capelle does his cut-throat rendition of the Black Keys’ 'Lonely Boy'. Stripped back and re-imagined.
This epic video was shot on green screen and conceptualized by Kid Hybrid. With an emphasis on effects, everything you see has been crafted by the use of Kaleidoscope techniques. The only exclusion is the initial static background from moon to desert-scape.
This is the story of A London based, Australian fronted Rock Electro band, who saved every last penny to travel over 8000 miles in search of ‘The Dream’. But ended up discovering so much more... real people and the places they passionately call home.
The project included a full suite of branded livery to support the documentary; Website, online advertising & social media campaign The Film made it's online debut on MSN and Premiered through Sounds Australia at CMJ Music Marathon in New York in 2012.
The story Capelle had hoped to tell was one that any touring band, from the Rolling Stones to the Foo Fighters can attest to, and that’s just how difficult and unique life on the road can be. But also it was an honest attempt to make it, in an industry where great songs aren’t enough to get you heard.
So what does an original rock band do? Their answer was to quit their jobs and hit the road, just like every great rock band has done before them, to earn their audience one person at a time.
What they hadn’t planned for, was just what an impact America would have, not only on the creation of their music, but the incredible people and stories they uncovered as they went.
This series explores their connection to the rich musical heritage of America and the places these people passionately call home.
Concept art is one of our most valuable tools. Having incredible artists at our disposal means we have the ability to show clients exactly what we're thinking. Clients get a vivid understanding of what we're helping them to achieve. It also cuts unnecessary costs in the long run. Less trial and error means quicker turn-over.
From the sickest and most elaborate graphic creatures, to the simplest and most commercially viable figures. We can create new beings to populate any imaginable concept you might have rattling around in that mind of yours. Open your mind… open your mind…
Quirky and educational. This animation is elegant in it's simplicity.
Sexy and meaty. This is our M.O. when it comes to creating music for advertising. You'll be beyond happy with the visuals you get from us, but you'll be dying for a track that actually sends your project into the stratosphere. That’s why you get that shizzle done in house. Kid Hybrid all the way baby!
Travel the world. It's got to be done. And this little snapshot gives people a taste of what they're missing out on. This is definitely one of our favorite pieces. In a mini movie, we've allowed our client to be heard, but with a more gentle sell. We've created a storyline that's relatable... a snapshot into a moment we could all have, if we just let go.
If Kid Hybrid had time to spare, we’d spend all summer at a festival. We don't. But that's cool, cause it means we're busy.
The only time we get to share in that excitement is on projects like this one. Coco Vita had a big presence at Cochella that year and it was up to us to provides lovers new and old of coconut water that it's a brand that is fashionable and full of fun. Cool by association maybe, but seriously, everyone needs hydration when they're out in the sun dancing to the likes of David Guetta, Queens of The Stone Age or Skrillex.
